Who We Are and What We Do

Tiny Beginnings

Tiny Planet Ink was officially founded in 2013 in the cramped basement of my Denver home.  The idea of having a print shop started much earlier when I was an art student in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  This is where I began my exploration with printmaking and the application of ink onto a variety of surfaces.  I started small, first with shirts and posters for local musicians.  Then I decided to focus on how to make printing a bigger part of my future.

After moving back to Denver in 2012, I teamed up with my good friend and fellow artist Devin Sena, and together we began conceptualizing what we needed to do to create a successful printing business.  As we gained momentum, in the Spring of 2014, we were able to move from the crowded basement to a new work space.  We were lucky to find a great spot that was capable to meet our growing production needs, our "Tiny Planet Ink World Headquarters."

We have been fortunate to print for some great Denver schools and businesses, and their loyalty has allowed us to grow and move in new directions.  Recently, we have begun to showcase new design work with some of our own original pieces. Be sure to keep an eye out for what we come up with.

Here at Tiny Planet Ink, we really love what we do, and we look forward to all the adventures that are yet to come!

What We Offer

As a screen printing service, we offer an extensive variety of both fabric and paper products.  Fabrics include tee shirts, sweatshirts, cloth bags, onesies,  pillow cases, kerchiefs, and koozies (to name a few).

We also print stationary, greeting cards, wedding or shower invitations, concert posters, and limited edition artistic prints.

We are constantly expanding and trying new things.  What we offer largely depends on what you are asking for.  We will work hard to meet your individual needs. That is part of our desire to take on new challenges.  Send us an email with what you need, and we'll do our best to make it happen.

100% Handmade

Our prints are 100% handmade 100% of the time.  The screen printing is all done on a manual press meaning we have complete control over the quality of the prints we create.  Every time we pull the squeegee we closely examine the condition of each print or color to be sure that only finest products are passed along to our customers.  This is something that larger print shops using a fully automated press cannot inherently guarantee.  We have the ultimate quality control.

Our Favorite Suppliers

Our preferred apparel printing is done on Next Level products.  Next Level Apparel offers a wide color palette and extensive range of fits and styles.  They provide several fabric blends that are both soft and durable and at a far better price than many of their competitors.

We are also big fans of Independent Trading Company.  Whenever we are looking to put together a hot run of sweatshirts and other outerwear, this is our first choice.  They have top quality garments with a great selection of fashion and sports fitness gear.

For our paper needs we really like Mohawk Strathmore premium papers.  It is an added bonus to support a company back in my home state of New York.   A second tip-top choice is French Paper Company based in Niles, Michigan.  With over 140 years in the business, these guys are well established in the top tier of paper suppliers in the country.  Between the two brands there are endless options and possibilities for any print job we can dream up.

The Inks

We offer a wide selection of inks depending on different goals and budgets.  Discharge and water based inks create a slightly distressed looked with a breathable and soft feel.

Plastisol inks are tried and true and have been the industry standard for several years.  The colors tend to be more vivid and work well for bold designs.

Our paper prints are offered in either water based or acrylic inks.  The color of the paper surface helps to determine which one might work best for any specific job.
